Hello Friend
As we look back on the year that has passed, we’re filled with gratitude for all that God has done and for the ways He has carried us through a season of growth, learning, and preparation. It’s been a full year, and we’re thankful not only for what was accomplished, but for the people who have been partnering with us along the way.
For Philip, December contained many milestones of completion. He completed EMT school, finishing both the final class exam and the state certification test. He also graduated from the JATO (JAARS Assisted Takeoff) program and received a sign-off on his official JAARS training, marking an important step forward in his preparation for aviation and emergency response work.
Anna’s December was equally full. She added two more speech therapy students to her weekly rotation, continued the ever-present and important work of motherhood, and led worship for several JAARS events as well as at our church. Each of these roles has enabled her to participate in the ministry, and we’re grateful for the ways God has used her gifts.
As a family, we were given the opportunity to attend a marriage conference for a weekend while Malachi got quality auntie time. Christmas holiday break was spent in happy chaos with family and friends. We were so blessed to close out 2025 with our loved ones. God is so good!
As we look ahead to the year to come, we’re excited for the doors God is beginning to open.
Philip will be joining the JAARS aviation training staff as a maintenance instructor. This role allows him to invest directly in training others who serve in aviation missions, and it feels like a natural continuation of the preparation God has been doing over the last several years. We are excited to welcome several new families—both from the States and internationally— to the JAARS training program. God is moving in the hearts of people all over the world to join in kingdom work!
Anna has already had the chance to lead worship for a retreat for JAARS training staff in this new year, and she is looking forward to expanding her speech therapy work to serve her students. These opportunities are life-giving for her, and we’re thankful for these opportunities.
