We wanted to share a prayer request with you that has come up a bit unexpectedly this month.
JAARS has asked us to consider stepping into a new assignment—one we weren’t anticipating. It’s an opportunity that could really stretch Philip in some important ways, especially in leadership, program management, and administration. In many ways, it feels like a meaningful step of growth.
At the same time, saying yes to this would likely mean putting our desire to serve overseas on hold for a season. That tension has made this a decision we want to approach very carefully and prayerfully.
Would you join us in asking God to make His will clear? We are praying that He would confirm what He desires for us, and that He would shape our hearts—either by changing our desires or strengthening them—so that we are aligned with Him. We have until May 1st to give our final answer.
